باب ندب مَن حلف عَلَى يَمينٍ، فرأى غيرها خيرَاً منهاأن يفعل ذَلِكَ المحلوف عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ يكفِّر عن يمينه

'Abdur-Rahman bin Samurah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said to me, "When you take an oath and consider something else to be better than it, make expiation for your oath and choose the better alternative."

"Abdurrahman Ibn Samoura (das) rapporte: «Le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) m"a dit: «Quand tu as juré de faire quelque chose et que tu en voies une meilleure, fais la meilleure et délie-toi de ton serment par un acte expiatoire (Kaffara)».
1716 وعَنْ أَبي هُريْرَةَ رضِيَ اللَّه عَنْهُ أَنَّ رسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قالَ: "منْ حلَف عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرأَى غَيْرَها خَيْراً مِنْهَا، فَلْيُكَفِّرْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، ولْيَفْعَلْ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ" رواهُ مسلم.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, "When you swear an oath and consider something else to be better than it, make expiation for your oath and do the thing that is better."

Selon Abou Hourayra (das), le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) a dit: «Quand celui qui a juré de faire quelque chose en voit une meilleure, qu"il se délie de son serment pour faire la meilleure». (Rapporté par Moslem)
1717 وَعَنْ أَبي مُوسَى رضِيَ اللَّه عَنْهُ أَنَّ رسُول اللَّه صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قَالَ: "إِنِّي واللَّهِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّه لاَ أَحلِفُ عَلَى يَمِينٍ، ثُمَّ أَرَى خَيْراً مِنهَا إِلاَّ كَفَّرْتُ عَنْ يَمِيني، وأَتيْتُ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيرٌ" متفقٌ عليه.

Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, "Verily, I swear by Allah, if Allah wills, I shall not swear to do something but that if I consider something else to be better than it, then I shall make expiation for my oath and adopt the thing that is better."

Selon Abou Musa (das), le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) a dit: «Je jure par Dieu que si je jure de faire quelque chose et que j"en voie une meilleure, je me délie de mon serment pour faire la meilleure».
1718 وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضِي اللَّه عنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم: " لأَنْ يَلَجَّ أَحَدُكُمْ في يَمِينِهِ في أَهْلِهِ آثَمُ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ تَعَالى مِنْ أَنْ يُعْطِيَ كَفَّارَتَهُ الَّتي فَرَض اللَّه عَلَيْهِ "متفقٌ عليه. قولُهُ:"يلَجَّ"بِفَتْحِ الَّلامِ، وَتَشْدِيدِ الجيِمِ: أَيْ يتَمادَى فِيها، وَلاَ يُكَفِّرُ، وقولُه:"آثَمُ"بالثاءِ المثلثة، أَيْ: أَكْثَرُ إِثْماً.

Selon Abou Hourayra (das), le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) a dit: «Celui qui persiste à faire ce qu"il a juré de faire vis-à-vis de sa famille commet pour Dieu un plus grand péché que celui qui fait l"acte expiatoire que Dieu a prescrit pour se délier de son serment».
