Hadith 1712 - Bab 315 (Illegality of Swearing Falsely)
Chapter 18 (The Book of the Prohibited actions)

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "He who takes oath to acquire the property of a Muslim unjustly will meet Allah and He will be angry with him" then he recited:

"Verily, those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and their oaths, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter. Neither will Allah speak to them nor look at them on the Day of Resurrection nor will He purify them, and they shall have a painful torment." (3:77)

Selon Ibn Mas"ùd (das), le Prophète (bsdl) a dit: «Celui qui jure mensongèrement pour s"approprier injustement le bien d"un Musulman, rencontrera Dieu plein de colère contre lui». Puis le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) nous récita du Livre de Dieu honoré et glorifié de quoi appuyer ses paroles: «Ceux qui troquent le pacte de Dieu et leurs serments pour un vil prix, ceux-là n"auront aucune part de bien dans l"autre monde. Dieu ne leur parlera pas au jour de la résurrection, ne tournera pas vers eux Ses regards et ne les bénira point. Ils auront des tourments  douloureux» (Chapitre 3 - verset 77) (ura)

Abu Umamah Iyas bin Tha'labah Al-Harithi (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, "He who misappropriates the right of a Muslim by taking a false oath, Allah will condemn him to the fire of Hell and will forbid Jannah for him." A person asked: "O Messenger of Allah, even if it is something insignificant?" He replied, "Yes, even if it is the twig of the Arak tree."

Selon Abou Oumâma Al Harithî (RA), le Messager de Dieu (saws) a dit : « Celui qui usurpe le droit d’un  musulman grâce à un faux serment, Dieu le destine à l’Enfer et lui interdit certainement le Paradis ». Quelqu’un lui dit : « Et s’il ne s"agit que d"une chose futile, ô Messager de Dieu?» Il dit: «Quand ce ne serait qu"un bâton d"arac (bois ordinaire et bon marché servant à se frotter les dents)».(Rapporté par Moslem)

'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-As (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "Of the major sins are: Associating anything in worship with Allah, disobedience to the parents, killing without justification and taking a false oath (intentionally)."

Another narration is: A bedouin came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) and asked him: "O Messenger of Allah, what are the cardinal sins?" He (Peace be upon him) replied, "Associating anything with Allah in worship." The man asked: "(What is) next?" The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) replied, "Al-Yamin Al-Ghamus." He asked: "What do you mean by Al-Yamin Al-Ghamus?" The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) replied, "Swearing falsely to usurp the property of a Muslim."
