Chapter 6 (The Book of Greetings)

Sahl bin Sa`d (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: There was a woman among us who would put beet root in a pot and add to it some ground barley. She used to cook them together. On returning from the Friday prayer, we would greet her and she would offer it to us.

Sa"d Ibn Sahl rapporte: «II y avait parmi nous une femme qui arrachait des feuilles de blette qu"elle faisait bouillir dans une marmite en versant dessus un par de farine d"orge. Une fois que nous avions terminé la prière du Vendredi et quitté la mosquée, nous la saluions et elle nous avançait sa soupe». (Rapporté par Al Boukhàri)

Umm Hani (May Allah be pleased with her), the daughter of Abu Talib reported: I went to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) on the day of the conquest of Makkah. He was taking a bath and Fatimah was screening him with a cloth. I greeted him. And she mentioned the rest of the Hadith.

[Muslim].

Oummou Hàni (das) rapporte: «Je me rendis le jour de la conquête de la Mecque chez le Prophète (bsdl) alors qu"il prenait un bain cependant que sa fille Fàtima le couvrait d"un voile. Je le saluai», (et elle cita le hadith). (Rapporté par Moslem)

Asma bint Yazid (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) passed by us when we were with a party of women, and he greeted us.

[Abu Dawud].

Asmà" Bent Yazid (das) rapporte: «Nous étions un groupe de femmes quand le Prophète (bsdl) passa devant nous et nous salua». (Rapporté par Abou Daoud)
